Severe case of ADS (Apple Derangement Syndrome)
1. $999 for 8gb RAM in 2022 was not great
2. $599 for a laptop that runs pretty much anything totally fine is a genuinely incredible value
3. RAM is more expensive than ever right now
4. There is no computer that is a better value than the Macbook Neo (other than maybe the M4 Mini)
This is a genuinely pathetic take. It takes so little mental energy to realize that it is stupid. I am amazed you didn't have that realization as you typed it. The only conclusion I can come to is that you're 14 years old and/or really stupid.
