@Zeon_VRC They absolutely are! Fallbacks can scale weird, esp with that damn mushroom. So the giant head gets in the way. You lose the vibe, too. Instead of a cool outfit with AudioLink you see a Brush they chose as a joke, or a "SHOW MY AVATAR" set of cubes.

hey, VRChat creators, i have seen posts from some of my most admired VRC creators lately that have got me thinking. they note that, among other things, we need to improve the feedback pipeline for needed tools and major creator issues.

@dtupper @k0sm0s_MM It’s actually not very reliable. It’s pretty wild how bad it is once you work with it a lot. An image from 07/27/2018. But nothing has changed really. This is why The Pug has LOD culling.

@k0sm0s_MM Does Unity occlusion culling not work? Is there something wrong with it?

@dtupper After years and years of trying to point this out and being made to feel crazy as a result. I dunno anymore.

i'm vastly oversimplifying basically everything here and we do have our own ideas and plans, but: if you had a magic wand, what would you want to see from us to help address this issue?
