If we presume that Town Meeting Members didn’t know all the facts, then they did the right thing in rejecting a proposal to change Brookline’s zoning bylaw.

Brookline Town Meeting just passed a significant tree canopy protecting bylaw that will further regulate the cutting of trees on private property, for the public good.
