Our meta-analysis of #HCV in #PrEP users now available open access in @OFIDJournal. We found lower HCV incidence in contexts where HCV #DAAs have been implemented at-scale - indicative of HCV treatment as prevention among gay and bisexual men.

Many states have done a good job of reducing barriers to Hep C treatment; yet only 20% treated within 6 months; 35% overall. Providers must ensure newly + get treated. Why don’t they?

👉Isolated cases of pharyngeal gonorrhoea resistant to both ceftriaxone and azithromycin reported in the UK since 2016.
