I couldn’t agree more. When @UConnFootball played in the Big East, the place was rock’n for every game. #justwin and they will show up. People who think otherwise, typically complain about everything.

One small critical observation about this year’s team. The 23 & 24 teams both had high flyers & players that could just go out & get it. AJax, Samson, Donovan - the lob set was a staple, it opened so many games & set the tone& added a huge dimension to their offense. I don’t recall seeing a single lob this year, either by design or opportunistic.

@BackInStorrs @DanWolken People are way too dramatic…he knew exactly what he was doing. And if Holly Rowe is right, he did all of that to take the pressure and spotlight off of his team and how they played. That wasn’t emotional - he knew actually what he was doing.

I hope Geno has people who are going to sit him down and tell him that if this is what it’s going to look like as he gets into his mid-70s, it might be time to exit stage left. I am skeptical that’s the case.

@bobjoyce27 Can't like this, but agree. SC looked like the CV Stringer Rutgers teams in terms of toughness and intensity.

A telling stat from SC’s win over UConn. SC avg 3rd qtr was 22-14. Opened with a 12-2 run to take control. Every time the Huskies got close, the Gamecocks had answers.

Now I don’t normally question Geno’s coaching. But if he’s going to play Jana early minutes against South Carolina, why the hell wasn’t he giving her early minutes the entire season😅
