Janet Mills has now released her second attack ad against Platner, on the exact same theme, offensive and insensitive comments Platner made on Reddit when he was a bartender. He has since apologized. Since her last attack ad, he has only climbed in the polls against both Mills and Collins. All these ads do is tell voters that the Democratic establishment is still a closed-off world where you are not welcome if you previously held different views or said something offensive on the internet. Nobody wants that world.
