maintainers of cosmwasm i wasted almost 2 years of my life in cosmos building open source tooling for cosmwasm devs just for it to be dropped from the cosmos roadmap & handed off for maintenance to a fdn that would unwind like 6mo's later ngl this is part of why i've been so depressed lately. i dedicated myself to making cosmos dx bearable. just to receive absolutely no support & be thrown away like a wet paper towel if i had chosen solana from the start i might've actually released a dapp or two. no bazillion chains to somehow make compatible & deploy on. just the one. im deep in debt. im considering giving up on crypto if i can't find a job soon & become a corpo slave. and cosmos played no small part in this.

People underestimate how much easier Cosmos DeFi will be *if* this prop does pass. Dex + permissionless CosmWasm + atomic transactions. If I were a Cosmos builder, I'd start working on lending protocols, LSTs, etc to relaunch on the Hub.

feels like a win for @cosmos to me 1) hub needs a dex Osmosis is battle-tested and generates 5 million$ net per year 2) runway for 6 years not a 1 year junoswap/wind situation, got enough runway for 6 years+ with 5 million in OGP assets coming to hub 3) cost is max 10 million $ATOM this is theoretical cost on everyone twapping their $OSMO within 6 months. Regardless pays for itself within 3 years...

⚡️🇮🇷Controversial take: Iran is taking very little damage. All strikes are focused on Tehran which has few military assets of any worth. They look "impressive" on video, with plumes of smoke going up in a big population center. They're just trying to take out command & control centers, leadership, etc. but that has no real effect on the war. Iran's actual military hardware scattered across the country is not being greatly attrited as videos of "strikes" show 70% + decoys, repeats, low-value targets not even worthy of hitting, etc.

@lex_node Running your own network (regardless of level) has costs. Unless you need some geo (or latency) guarantee I'd not bother. The only real reason imo to run one is privacy/encryption. Most permissioned nets don't meet this sadly
