Hot take: Ascended Heroes is garbage. Great SIRs and IRs, and MARs are cool… But the pulls are absolute cheeks, both singles and sealed are priced into oblivion due to scarcity, and a set that should’ve otherwise been fun to collect is now either an absolute dread, or has to go ignored for more accessible sets. The sad truth to all of this is that Pokémon could fix it if they wanted to. In a set with this many hits, fix the batching and pull rates, and print this set into the ground all year. Flood the market. They do those things, and this is one of the best sets of all time. But until then… cheeks.
