@amuse @thelifeofcarri @vonlane I used them for the same run when they used to pickup at IAH. Agree it's first class treatment and gets you there in the same amount time spent at the airports and flying.

@thelifeofcarri For me it makes more sense to just take @vonlane from Dallas to Houston or Austin. It costs around $140 and I can sit at a desk and work while being served cocktails by the attendant. No lines, no security, no delays - and it takes about the same amount of time as flying.

@WallStreetApes Water usage at a data center would be for cooling towers, chemicals used for treatment are not typically PFAS based, majority of the water is evaporated. I am not sure that facts are being presented correctly.

Google’s Data Center in New Albany, Ohio uses 387,000 gallons per day. That’s over 141 million gallons per year
“What happens to that water? It gets generated with a lot of forever chemicals in it, and we the EPA does not have the equipment to actually clean that out”
It’s true standard municipal wastewater treatment plants often struggle with PFAS because these chemicals don’t break down easily and require specialized, expensive removal technology
