@BasicBaptistGuy Uhh , i’m thinking you can’t be serious, but in case you are, the signed statements made by the book of Mormon witnesses is right after the cover and title page.

@JasontheLayman I’ll never understand why people like you think you’re convincing anyone by mocking and hurling insults. That’s why no one believes you and no one wants what you’re offering. Try having a respectful conversation once in a while. People might actually believe you’re a Christian.

I'm certain Joseph Smith used to laugh at his followers behind closed doors. I believe he thought the Holy Bible was fictional and that he could counterfeit it, which he did with the Book of Mormon. It's sad that people still believe his lies in this age of information.

@JasontheLayman The agenda of the book of Mormon is to testify of Jesus Christ, which it does magnificently! If you were interested in Jesus Christ, you would read it.

What is the agenda of the Book of Mormon? To usurp the authority of the Lord by denouncing the Holy Bible. The false prophet Joseph Smith dictated this nonsense in his fairytale: In summary, many plain and precious things were taken away from the Bible and that Satan has great power over Bible believers. What exactly was removed? The fake prophecies Joseph was attempting to write into the Holy Bible about himself. How convenient! Guess who else claimed the Bible had been corrupted? Joseph Smith's spiritual brother Muhammad.

@Bar_tolmi I guess the book mobile must’ve been making regular visits to Palmyra in the early 1800s for Joseph Smith to have read all of these books that he did not have access to . Quite an accomplishment for someone with the third grade education.

@mormons_speak @Ch_JesusChrist The attempts by fragile self conscious evangelicals who are desperate to think they are destroying the church is a massive self own . Maybe you should check your own attendance rolls because it’s really quite pathetic in comparison.

@DorothyTreen If any of you ever actually read or studied to book a Mormon, you would know how absolutely stupid your juvenile debunking sounds to latter Saints . The idea that Joseph Smith who had a third grade education, somehow wrote it is ridiculous.

@Bar_tolmi Funny. The author of this so-called Madog book theory ,claims that he found a copy in the Salt Lake Public library, but he couldn’t remember the name of it. How convenient. Turns out there is no such thing and copy has never been produced. Repeating a lie is still a lie.

Joseph Smith stole from many sources for the Book of Mormon like the apocrypha (Tobit, Maccabees, Judith), Methodist sermons, and the story of Madoc (Madog) and other esoteric teachings. "In the Book of Mormon, Nephi writes: "I Nephi, being born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my father;...there I make a record of the proceeding of my days". (1 Nephi 1:1) In the Book of Madog, by John Dee: "I, Madog, born of goodly parents, was taught somewhat in the learning of my father, nevertheless having seen many afflictions, therefore I make a record in my day as a vagabond upon the face of the earth." (Madog 3:1) Madog was a Welsh prince who purportedly sailed to America in the 12th century. They had wars with the Indians. The son of Madog was Mor Awnyry (pronounced "More-On-ih-rih")" Joseph Smith was a known freemason and scryer and incorporated lots of esoteric secret society mythology into the Book of Mormon.

Mormons refuse to acknowledge the possibility of Joseph Smith having prepares for months or years before dictating the Book of Mormon. Against Edward’s wishes I asked his own question to Gemini and I am even more convinced that Smith deeply rehearsed the BoM. Read what AI said:

@JasontheLayman I don’t know how to tell you this because you’re so massively ignorant. But It is a widely known fact that native Americans have deeply rooted traditions that imitate Israelite traditions. The early settlers in the Americas believed that the Indians were the lost 10 tribes .

One of the central themes to the Book of Mormon is that God changed his mind and sent some of His chosen people to a new Promised Land in the Americas, which is complete nonsense. These are supposed to be Israelites, but where are the festivals or celebrations mentioned in this fictional tale? No Passover, Day of Atonement, or Feast of Shelters. These are not just deeply rooted traditions, but are part of the Law prescribed by God through Moses, and are observed throughout the biblical narrative. Just something else to consider when claiming the Book of Mormon is inspired text, which it clearly is not. Please do not ignore the countless red flags in your book of fables. I hope you're keeping track of all these inconsistencies and contradictions. God allowed Joseph Smith to make all of these errors as a lifeline to escape out of the enemy's bondage. Flee from the LDS city of destruction.

@synthenergy What I don’t get is, why is it that some Christians are just angry all the time? And why do they think that’s going to draw anyone away from a church that they are happy with? Constantly walking by gaslight and mistaking insults for facts.

When confronted with evidence in a simple conversation, why do so many LDS members immediately jump to "you're dishonest" (without evidence) and "mic drop" to the exit?

@JasontheLayman That’s that’s kind of funny because Isaiah did the same thing only the he did it 800 years before Christ was born.

How dumb is the Book of Mormon? Seventy-five years before Jesus walks on this earth, there's an Anti-Christ preaching in the Americas and leading people astray. I can no longer take LDS apologists seriously who defend the countless linguistic anachronisms in this book of fables.

@SenatorHick Tina Peters “crime” was that she made copies of election data from computers that clearly showed manipulation by the Democratic Party. This was after she witnessed ballots appearing out of nowhere for days on end. A patriot who was persecuted by the facists in power.

Tina Peters is guilty as sin and a disgrace to Colorado. She tried to undermine Colorado’s free and fair election system. When she was caught red-handed, she was prosecuted by a Republican district attorney and rightfully convicted by a jury of her peers. Reducing her sentence sends the wrong message to those seeking to undermine trust in our elections and it will do nothing to deter Donald Trump’s illegal attacks on Colorado. I strongly disagree with this decision.

BREAKING: Gov. Jared Polis will reduce Tina Peters’ sentence by half, appearing to bend to demands from President Trump — and ignoring pleas of other Colorado elected officials and the prosecutor behind the election data-breach scheme conviction denverpost.com/2026/05/15/tin…

@Apologetics941 If Jesus is “ The Son of God’ how could he not have a father.?The problem you’re having is that you are viewing this through your nonsensical pagan made idea of a Trinity that rules out a godhead of 3 distinct and separate people. The Bible doesn’t teach that. Period.

Mormonism teaches that Jesus was literally born to God and whoever his wife is (or wives). The Bible teaches that Jesus is the "I AM". Mormonism is not Christianity.

@Salt_n_Smoke Baptism does not authorize you to have the priesthood. that’s like saying that driving a police car makes you a police officer. Joseph and Oliver Cowdey received the priesthood under the hand of John the Baptist prior to their baptisms of one another.

According to Mormon theology, unless a person is properly baptized by someone who has the authority to baptize, that person is improperly baptized and that baptism is of no effect. The person who is improperly baptized, we are told, remains unsaved. So, Joseph Smith—who had not yet been baptized by someone who had the proper authority—had no authority himself to baptize Oliver Cowdery. And Cowdery—thus improperly baptized—subsequently went on to improperly baptize Joseph Smith.
Thoughtful-Faith@ThoughtfulSaint

Your baptism is not valid unless it is done by someone acting under apostolic keys. You are super close to being a Latter-day Saint. If you love Jesus and want to help us build his kingdom come and be baptized and enter into a binding covenant relationship with him and become part of the modern house of Israel, his people, his church.

People ask why I’m not more “polite” with Mormons or why I don’t use their full name. There’s a strong push to drop “Mormon” and say “Church of Jesus Christ.” Words shape perception. The more you hear “Jesus Christ,” the more it feels familiar. Mormonism is not Christianity. Good people, real charity, but a different faith. I don’t want to blur that line.

@PopePiusIXStan See also the vision of Steven after he was being stoned. Also, the transfiguration and Jesus‘s visit to the temple right before he was crucified. The father of the son and the Holy Ghost were present in all three physically.

@ReformedMormon Everything we know about ordinances and Tampa work has been restored by modern prophets and apostles. It had to be restored through Joseph Smith since the authority and priesthood was lost in the great apostasy following the death of the apostles.

If LDS ordinances are as essential as they claim...and if they are as ancient as they claim...and if they must be performed as specifically as they claim...it is odd that there is literally NOTHING in ancient records documenting the specifics of how to perform these ordinances.
