@travelingflying Is there a book recounting this? I want more evidence because this is very interesting and important. People, including myself, need more proof that there are Muslim nations that are driven towards conquest and toward their goal of forcefully spreading their religion.

Christopher Hitchens: ”In 1786, when the United States was barely a country, it was having its sailors taken as slaves by the Barbary states, the states of the Ottoman Empire and North Africa. Tripoli, shores of Tripoli. Ships stopped, its crews carried off into slavery. We estimate 1.5 million European and American slaves taken between 1750 and 1815. Jefferson and Adams went to their ambassador in London and said, why do you do this to us? The United States has never had a quarrel with the Muslim world of any kind. We weren't in the crusades. We weren't at war with Spain. Why do you do this to our people and our ships? Why do you plunder and enslave our people? The ambassador said very plainly, Mr. Abdul Rahman said, because the Quran gives us permission to do so, because you are infidels, and that's our answer. Jefferson said, well, in that case, I will send a navy which will crush your state, which he did. Islamic fundamentalism is not created by American democracy. It's a lie to say so. It's a masochistic lie, and it excuses those who are the real criminals, and blames us for the attacks made upon us.”

@HawkEmDownChris Top 5 offensive player sure. But I can’t put a guy who played zero defense in the top 10 players of all time.

Donald Trump has taken America, a country the rest of the world always loved and/or respected, and turned it into a country the rest of the world now despises, laughs at, and wants nothing to do with.

@JoCote3030 @whateverbs99 Maybe, and this a a big maybe, he can still be a top 25 player for very short 5 minute bursts. But even that is debatable.

@eustace_on7 @egrrrrl8446 And everyone 3-100 is just so fragile. Just when you think one of them can make a run they get injured or become a head case.

@egrrrrl8446 Yeah I'm still a supporter and I want him to get back to his best but that's just the truth. Not only him tho, the rest of the field. Like I don't see any difference between players from 4-100. The skill rating ain't that much anymore, it's just all about moments

The skill gap between Alcaraz/Sinner and the rest of the field is so massive. I feel like after the world no 1 and 2 rankins, the rest should get ranked from no 11 because no way Zverev is a top 4 player and yet this match is looking like a walk in the park 💀

@JLewis562 Retard, most people will tell you Wilt is better than Bill despite Wilt having 9 less rings and less MVPs. But if we go by Jortards standards then Bill is the greatest player ever. The problem is the Jortard standards are inconsistent in favor on MJ and diet MJ. Hope that helps

Bronsexuals will try to use Bill Russell with his 11 💍s (in a smaller league) as a means to minimize the value of Jordan’s 💍s in the GOAT debate. My question is why don’t they use the same logic when it comes to Wilt having the greatest stats???

@SportsStatsFan @ThrowbackHoops And here’s a fun fact. Larry was equally as good with either hand. He could shoot 20’ jumper’s equally as well with either hand. He’s the only player in NBA history who could have averaged 25 a night with either hand.

@Hoopss LeBron is one of the few modern players who would translate very well to the 80s/90s. He’d have to seriously improve his FT% if he wanted to be truly elite in that era, but his overall skill set works well in that era.

@ChaoticDrewtral @haiti4eva Exactly. Being willing to take hard contact to get a couple free throws is honest offense. Flailing all over the place like a bitch because you know you’re not skilled enough to beat a defender to a spot is just bad acting. It’s also horrible to watch.

@haiti4eva People don’t understand the difference between drawing a foul and foul baiting. Cutting hard at the rim and finding contact and attempting to score isn’t foul baiting.

“MJ did the SAME FOUL BAITING” Saying that is like saying 2-3 & a 3-2 zone are the same because they cover areas. MJ wasn’t flailing his arms on the perimeter when dribbling, he wasn’t jumping sideways to go out of his shooting motion. STOP THE CAP!

@Joeprince05 @LoveTheOrange1 I was 13 years old and remember that game well. MJ was amazing. But he played 53 minutes. He was fairly efficient but did take 41 shots. Kawhi played 32 minutes and had one of the most efficient scoring performances we’ve ever seen. No shade on MJ, but efficiency matters.

@PICT3791 @LoveTheOrange1 respectfully speaking , you’re clearly young and did not witness Mike. He did it against the 85 Celtics in a playoff game on their home court. In an era where people Actually played defense. I love kawhi( my 2nd favorite player ) but that performance is nothing like MJ’s

@reliqu3 @BarstoolBigCat Oh no. You don’t have a clue. If the league doesn’t punish this nonsense, someone will score 100 next week. This opens up a mess. The league is no sport, it’s novelty.

@Super70sSports Obviously you didn’t watch the game, but it was earned all the way. And I saw the 90’s Pistons play in person, they were cheap shot thugs. That’s nothing to cheer; by the way Kobe scored 81 and I didn’t hear anyone bitch about that…

The next time, and every subsequent time, anybody tries to tell me the NBA is better today: “Bam Adebayo scored 83 points in a game.” The 1989 Detroit Pistons wouldn’t let him score 83 points RIGHT NOW. Call Dennis Rodman.
