چار سال سے بند نیلم جہلم ہائیڈرو پاور پراجیکٹ جس کا آج بھی سرچارج بلوں میں لگا ہوا ہے، اور جس پر ہر سال ایک ارب ڈالر کا نقصان ہو رہا ہے، اس پر پلاننگ کمیشن کے اجلاس میں چئیرمین نیسپاک نے جو بریفنگ دی وہ "چیٹ جی بی ٹی" سے لکھوائی گئی تھی اور جس پر جناب پروفیسر ڈاکٹر احسن اقبال صاحب نے بھی کوئی اعتراض نہیں کیا۔ کروڑوں روپے میں تنخواہیں لے کر پندرہ ارب روپے کے پراجیکٹ کو سوا چھ سو ارب روپے میں مکمل کروانے والے نیسپاک کے حرام خوروں کا بھی کبھی احتساب ہو گا؟؟؟ پلاننگ کمیشن میں بیٹھے غدار، جنہوں نے بھارت کی سہولت کاری کرتے ہوئے اس منصوبے میں چار سالتاخیر کی، ان پر بات کرنے سے مسلم لیگ ن کو آگ لگ جاتی ہے۔ جب اس پراجیکٹ کی قوم کو ضرورت پڑی تو یہ بند پڑا ہے اور کوئی اس کا جواب دینے کو تیار نہیں۔

This arrangement was built on a false narrative and a mistaken threat assessment that portrayed Iran as the main danger to the region. The truth is that the primary actors threatening regional security are the United States and Israel. Attempting to revive the same model after the war would be a profound historical mistake by Arab leaders. One that future generations are unlikely to forgive.

A humble request to the owners of #jalalsons in #Lahore .. I was waiting outside one of your stores where I saw the foodpada rider standing outside on the steps at arpund 3PM today. The temperature was 42° and it was extremely hot. When the rider arrived to collect the order he was assigned, the guard did not allow him to enter the store. Why? Why was he asked to stand outside and wait while his order is prepared? I stayed outside to watch this all. The person with him came out twice to confirm the order and kept him waiting in the sun. No shade. No relief from thr heat. He asked for water and was declined rather snubbed. This is inhuman and racist behavior. Koi khuda ka khouf karein.

Pakistan’s largest aviation ground and cargo handling company in Pakistan – Gerry’s Dnata (Pvt) Ltd was recently served with a penalty of Rs 2.7 billion by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) The FBR came to the conclusion that Gerry’s Dnata was involved in the illegal removal of expensive imported electronic goods without customs duties being paid on them – and that it did this through ways that amounted to fraud A detailed investigation by the Collectorate of Customs (Airports), Karachi, found that the company tampered with airway bills, deleted index numbers and basically forged fake gate passes using Gerry’s Dnata’s own computerized system to enable these goods to bypass the customs The reason it did this was simple – so that goods could be taken out without customs duties and taxes paid to the government on them by the company and this was done through the above-mentioned fraudulent practices which allowed it to bypass the customs clearance process Customs officials intercepted consignments at the Gerry’s shed containing laptops, iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, PlayStations, tablets, and memory cards, which were being taken out and being made to bypass customs through the forged gate passes. Furthers investigations revealed that at least five additional consignments had already been illegally cleared using the same fraudulent method. The authorities said that Gerry’s Dnata continued to protect staff members involved in this racket and that it refused to provide CCTV footage and system logs – both of which have to be retained under the Customs Act, 1969. The FBR also noted that the company obstructed the investigation despite repeated notices issued to it Customs authorities arrested eight people including five Gerry’s Dnata employees A female employee admitted to having issued fake gate passes on the instructions of her supervisors, while an arrested cargo agent confessed to the existence of an organized network that had been operating for several years, and was engaged in manipulation and systematic pilferage of imported goods Apart from the fine, the FBR also ordered Gerry’s Dnata to pay Rs 221 million in duties and taxes
