@PunjabGovtIndia @CMOPb may note that if any tax that is not collected from consumers is charged from dealers, it would be a violation of the Vat Act and the dealers facing much financial losses since COVID 19 pandemic will not be able to pay and act accordingly.

@ioclpunjab @hpcl_Jalandhar @hpcl_Chandigarh @hpcl_retail @SanjayChoubeys to note that the Vat and all State cess and taxes are to be paid by the consumer, therefore, dealers are not be charged any revised rate once the product is billed and the retail rates are fixed by you.

@PunjabGovtIndia @CMOPb the notification of the increase in cess on Petrol and Diesel is still not available and @ioclpunjab @hpcl_Chandigarh @SanjayChoubeys have not increased the rates on both fuels. No dealer is be charged any tax that is not collected from the consumer.

The BJP Government has been increasing the fuel prices constantly which has made the lives of common people miserable. The Congress Government in Punjab has reduced the VAT on petrol and diesel by 10 and 5 rupees respectively which would provide relief to everyone.

@IndianOilcl @BPCLimited @HPCL @PetroleumMin the unprecedented capital loss on stocks due to decrease in excise duty needs to be absorbed by the OMCs and dealers should be compensated. The mounting losses and inadequate margins will eventually lead to closure of ROs. What then?
