Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh virtually inaugurated the Department of Military Medicine at Command Hospital (Central Command), Lucknow today in the presence of the Chief of the Army Staff Gen Dhiraj Seth, Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, GOC-in-C Central Command Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, VCOAS Lt Gen Sandeep Jain, #DGAFMS Surg Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Lt Gen VPS Kaushik, AG, Lt Gen CG Muralidharan, DGMS (Army) and other senior Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces officers. Conceived as the academic hub for military and operational medicine, the department will strengthen combat casualty care, operational readiness, research, innovation, and tri-service integration while advancing training in combat medicine, HADR, CBRNe response, and technology-enabled battlefield healthcare.
