@fordnation Airports in Canada are not required to rescue passengers. Transport Canada doesn't require it. Thankfully Pearson is staffed with enough firefighters to rescue those that aren't able to exit safely. Do better @Transport_gc

I’m relieved there are no casualties after the incident at Toronto Pearson. Provincial officials are in contact with the airport and local authorities and will provide any help that’s needed.

Nice example of something that looks like a tornado, but I don't think is, slow vertical motion, no evidence of strong surface winds or debris. Not much rotation either.
