A reminder casual golfers should be using 7-Woods and 9-Woods. If Tommy Fleetwood, one of the best ball strikers on earth, thinks the forgiveness of a 9-Wood is worth it…maybe we should ditch our 5 or 6 irons. My 7 wood is gold. Time to try the 9.

Data Golf gave Sepp Straka more “true strokes gained” for coming in 3rd at the 20-man Hero World Challenge than it did to Jon Rahm for winning LIV Hong Kong. @DataGolf this is a joke yall are fucking clowns. Not sure how anyone takes their world ranking seriously

@DataGolf @ThorbjornOleZyn So just so I understand, the problem doesn’t come from your data, the problem is the lack of world ranking points in LIV events making it seem Rahm is playing weaker competition?

@ThorbjornOleZyn We don't "give true SG" for finishing 3rd in some event. It's really not complicated, it's just the strokes you beat the field by + some adjustment for how good the field is. We do give DG Points for finish positions. Straka got 2.28, Rahm got 5.01, which seems correct to me.
