@RensingTrades It’s ultra regressive. Lower income folks spend much more of what they have. So It ends up harming the poorest people. You could tax luxury items… things that cost Over, perhaps, 20k? Many problems with consumption based taxes. Good in theory, bad in practice.

@RensingTrades I think you would destroy consumer behavior. People spend without thinking, and that makes the economy boom. When they figure out they are paying more in taxes, they will be more reserved in their purchases, travel, etc.

I honestly believe we should get rid of the IRS and just go to a consumption tax The more you buy, the more you spend, the more tax you pay! What do you think?

Obama walked into a full-blown economic disaster and didn’t spend every day crying about the last guy…he got to work and cleaned it up. MAGAs can’t go five minutes without blaming everyone else for everything. That’s the difference: leadership vs. nonstop whining.

@lecternleader Rage bait. Only losers do not realize the jobs under Biden were COVID ones coming back, government or healthcare based or foreigners. No real growth

@lecternleader there are countless "hot MAGA chick" bots/fake accounts that are passing as real people right now. not sure if she's one of them, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's someone in southeast asia just trying to post things to get monetized

@lecternleader Biden jobs were mostly gov subsidized… or created by fake jobs like daycare “learing” centers etc.

The Biden administration always revised their numbers down quietly months later. Technically, this should account for that. Also, people returning to work after COVID should be accounted. Additionally, Trump did promise a new golden age, trillions invested, and job creation. I’m not taking Biden’s numbers seriously, but Trump’s should be higher based on his promised investments into America.

@lecternleader Biden's jobs were all part time or government jobs. Trump has dramatically reduced the size of government and lots of people are moving from multiple part time jobs to one full time job.

.@RealSkipBayless on Denver acquiring Jaylen Waddle: "I don't think a lot about Jaylen Waddle because he was a clear cut #2, and when Tyreek went out, he did virtually nothing. He never lived up to being the No. 6 overall pick."

Spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Oil: "At present, Iran essentially has no crude oil left floating on water or surplus for supply in other international markets, and the statement by the US Treasury Secretary is merely aimed at giving hope to buyers and psychologically controlling the market."

Medellín, Colombia dropped its city's warming temps by a whopping 4 degrees Fahrenheit. How? They created "green corridors" of trees and plants throughout the built city. It cost $6.50 per resident, and will save the city millions of dollars each year. We need more of this!
