People spend without thinking, and that makes the economy boom.
When they figure out they are paying more in taxes, they will be more reserved in their purchases, travel, etc.

I honestly believe we should get rid of the IRS and just go to a consumption tax

The Biden administration always revised their numbers down quietly months later.
Technically, this should account for that.
Also, people returning to work after COVID should be accounted.
Additionally, Trump did promise a new golden age, trillions invested, and job creation.
I’m not taking Biden’s numbers seriously, but Trump’s should be higher based on his promised investments into America.

@lecternleader Biden's jobs were all part time or government jobs. Trump has dramatically reduced the size of government and lots of people are moving from multiple part time jobs to one full time job.

BREAKING The Trump administration has granted a temporary sanctions waiver allowing the Islamic Republic of Iran to sell oil. The authorization applies to shipments that were already loaded onto tankers before March 20, 2026, and gives a deadline of April 19 to complete them. The regime may not sell oil to North Korea, Cuba, or any part of Ukraine under Russian control.
