In your top 6, you must have a keeper and at least one bowling option. And in your bowlers, you must have one all-rounder and at least one other who can bat. It is this lack of balance that is hurting India.

@WisdomOfCric The problem with Sanju is binary outcome, great inning or single digit. that’s reflect in his Avg across his career and IPL. Ganguly used to love this kind of player who can win you matches on his day. Maybe this management is not that clear, otherwise 3 bad innings is nothing

The Sanju Samson problem. Sanju Samson has been dropped again, this time for the Zimbabwe T20I series. He played against Ireland because he was the Player of the Tournament in the latest T20 World Cup. But after failing in three matches there and two against England, he found himself out of the XI. Alongside that, the public clamour to include 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has clearly increased the pressure on the team management. But here's my question: Why not keep Sanju in the Zimbabwe squad? With due respect, Zimbabwe is exactly the kind of opposition where you can experiment. You could easily have rotated Sanju, Vaibhav and Abhishek Sharma across different matches. Even if India had lost one game, that would have been a reasonable price to pay for evaluating players properly. If someone can be the Player of the Tournament in a World Cup, how can four poor innings suddenly make him expendable? Is the Vaibhav factor working against Sanju? Vaibhav is an exceptional young talent and naturally attracts attention, but team selection shouldn't be driven by hype alone. As @ashwinravi99 recently pointed out, repeated decisions like these can create insecurity within the dressing room. They don't help team morale. Yes, Sanju failed in a few games. That doesn't mean he has suddenly become a bad player. In my opinion, he should have been on that flight to Zimbabwe.

At 24, Aadit will soon be Indias youngest CEO of a listed company. @ZeptoNow As Zepto soon makes it debut on dalal street , we discussed the rapid growth of quick commerce in india today and the challenges that come with it. The value grocery industry in india is worth a staggering 800 bln$ today out of which Quick commerce does not even have 5% of the pie so the potential is immense . But it comes with its share of hurdles. Zepto has scaled rapidly, but we asked the hard questions: losses, cash burn, capital intensity, competition, regulatory disclosures, use of proceeds and long-term profitability. Zeptos revenues have surged from 4454cr in FY24 to a whopping 22600cr in FY26 . but this growth has come at the cost of steep losses Losses have widened from 1215cr in FY24 to 5905cr in FY26. Aadit spoke to me about how they are bringing down the cost per order, have cut down quarterly cash burn from 1300cr to 800cr and are doubling down on advertising revenues. Zeptos densification strategy is front and centre in bring down costs and increasing efficiencies. Try connecting @airtelindia customer care. Looks like solid cost cutting has done. It took me 12 min , just to get email id of airtel customer care from the employee. To register a complaint, took 2 hrs through multiple touchpoint of chat, call and email.
