Ok, so the AG of Virginia, Jay Jones, has filed an emergency appeal to the United States Supreme Court asking them to overrule the Virginia State Supreme Courts ruling, and while he may have sent it through spellcheck this time, he failed to change templates..because this one is still going to the Supreme Court of Virginia. The incompetence is mind blowing. 😆😆😆

I watched residents, landowners, farmers, and nature lovers beg NY to leave their town alone. The bureaucrats dispatched from Albany didn’t care. In fact, they didn’t even allow us to address them directly.
When ORES comes to town, it’s allowed to trump local zoning and environmental laws. ORES is staffed by @KathyHochul.
We’ve lost our home rule in New York. We’re going to need federal governmental intervention to help us get it back.

This woman’s daughter bought a used car two weeks ago and it’s been in the shop 9 days out of those two weeks. The warranty won’t fix the issues the car has because the issues are being caused by an accident.
I feel the dealership failed big time on this trade in. Why take a car on trade that has issues they refuse to fix. I can’t imagine them selling a car to anyone and saying that the warranty is voided because of extensive damage caused by an accident.
To me this sounds like the dealership scammed them and should be liable for all repairs or at least replace the car for free with something comparable. I’ve never experienced anything this bad from a dealer. The closest thing I’ve had is that the new car I bought had a tire that had a flat spot due to it sitting on the lot for so long. When driven, the tire would vibrate like it was out of balance. The dealer kept passing the buck to the manufacturer and the manufacturer blamed the dealer. Eventually I was able to get the dealer to replace the tire because of pure persistence but the experience left me with a poor experience and I never went back to them.

This woman spent $50k on a used car at a dealer only for them to come back to her later and ask for the car back. They claimed the other owner bought an electric car that she didn’t like and wanted to back out of the deal when in reality they didn’t pay off the trade and the other woman was still making payments on it. For me this would be my biggest nightmare if I ever bought a car. I couldn’t imagine being lied to by the dealership like this. I would never think something like this could happen because when I am buying a new car, there is an air of excitement that comes with the car and the new features and styling. I wouldn’t be able to control myself if I found out the dealer was lying all this time because the previous owner had to track me down and come visit me themselves. It would be overwhelming for me to even know where to start for something like this. I wouldn’t think this happens often, I think the first thing that pops into mind would be to call an attorney. So after spending all that money on a car, now I have to pay more for an attorney just so I don’t get ripped off. Needless to say the plan for me is to eliminate the deal, take the car back, get my down payment back and go to a brand new dealer. I wouldn’t be able to trust the previous dealer to have done the right thing. I would have zero trust in them anymore.

That’s why calling it “safe” is ridiculous. Republicans only hold 7 of New York’s 26 congressional seats already. If anything, we’re underrepresented as it is. And even if Democrats wanted to force through another redistricting map, New York law makes that extremely difficult. Hochul’s comments about redistricting were mostly political messaging for her Democratic base. There’s no realistic way to push a constitutional change through two legislative sessions and then win a statewide referendum before the midterms.

@PalaPolitics @StatisticUrban Yeah it’s gerrymandered, that’s the point. It’s designed to create a map where districts are heavily favored. I don’t know the specific numbers but it’s probably D+10 at least in the blue shaded areas.
