India calls America out for Trump’s racist comments and Rubio calls Americans stupid. President Trump amplified a post last month referring to India as a “hellhole.” So when Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited New Delhi, he was confronted directly about remarks viewed as offensive toward Indians coming from the United States. Rubio responded: “Every country in the world has stupid people who say dumb things.” The State Department initially posted the exchange online, but later removed it after people pointed out that Rubio’s answer appeared to indirectly characterize Trump’s comments as “dumb.”

Kruger must rue the day he had to put himself in a position of defending a candidate from the same party he sits in who is like a throwback from the 70s. This guy, should he win, will be Kruger’s close colleague. We know Kruger’s values from his book Covenant. I don’t remember the part about misogyny being acceptable and desired in a modern society and Kruger knows that saying this stuff before you became a politician doesn’t make it okay. Most men recognised those outdated attitudes as being shameful and embarrassing years ago, not once they were in the running for a good job. Kruger’s made his bed though, I just think it must be rather uncomfortable.
