Jimmy’s ending only looks tragic if you think freedom means getting away. For the first time in his life, he stops running, stops performing, and tells the truth especially to Kim. That is why the ending does not feel like a loss. It feels like Jimmy McGill finally becoming himself.

Across the entire 11 season Breaking Bad universe, Gus and Saul shared the screen only once Better Call Saul Season 3, Episode 2.
That’s why Saul always talks about Gus like this:

He wasn’t joking. Saul never really dealt with Gus face-to-face.
Their only real connection was Mike.
