College is about studying & learning.
Work is about doing & learning.
Classroom teachers imply learning only happens in buildings called schools. Whereas, the best learning happens while working.
We call people in classrooms 'teachers' but every manager is a teacher.
Not to mention, people pay for teachers while managers pay their workers. How is this not an easy choice?
Who is the better hire, someone with four years of studying or someone with four years of experience?
A new $50K automobile, paid with cash, is more revered than a diploma. Can't pick up a date with a diploma.
Ironically, classroom learning focuses on countless people with astounding accomplishments who never went to college either because most people at that time did not go to college or even high school or any K-12. They read books. They learned on the job. They had mentors.
They didn't spend eight years--high school and college--in a classroom reading and talking while paying through the nose for these basic activities. Want to have an intellectual discussion? Join a book club.
