Powerful contributions from Westminster's Youth MPs James and Kaden in Parliament yesterday. James talked about the mental health crisis faced by young people and Kaden read a letter to MYPs from the Prime Minister. #youthparliament

It was a great honour to speak about Mental Health, an issue I care deeply about, in the House of Commons today as part of the @UKYP Annual sitting. Thank you to the @bycLIVE and @UKParliament for hosting us. Today was a true example of why #youthvoice needs to be heard!

There are no words to describe this utter shambles adequately. It’s beyond hyperbole - & parody. Reality tho is that ordinary people are paying the price. The interests of the Tory party should concern no-one right now. A General Election is now a democratic imperative.

1. There will be a widespread sense of relief that the chaos of the last few days (indeed months) will come to an end, though notion of Boris Johnson staying on as PM until autumn seems far from ideal, and surely not sustainable?
Pippa Crerar@PippaCrerar

BREAKING: Boris Johnson has resigned. BBC’s @ChrisMasonBBC confirms that PM has agreed to stand down. He’ll stay on as caretaker leader until new Tory leader elected this autumn. You heard it here first 👇🏼

Eid al-Fitr means 'festival of breaking the fast' and marks the end of Ramadan. It was great to see so many Pimlico residents at todays Eid prayer. #EidMubarak

This week I was pleased that @leader_wcc agreed that our Lord Mayor's and Aldermen and woman needed to better represent the City of Westminster. Nearly 50% of the borough are from diverse backgrounds yet we are still to reflect that in our selection of these roles.
