@xMBGx So many people are talking about that Sony is coming back to exclusives. And these are such a good news. But why?

I'm seeing a lot of people pushing back against, or straight up denying the rumor that Sony is moving away from PC. For those who are unaware, the reports indicate Sony no longer plans to release their internally developed single player games (Ghost of Yotei, Saros, Wolverine etc...)on PC, but instead keep them fully exclusive to their console. However, Multiplayer live service (Marathon, Horizon Hunters Gathering etc...) and second party exclusives (Death Stranding 2, Kena 2 etc...) are still planned to release on PC. Also keep in mind there are multiple credible insiders reporting this. They are sourced, not just made up by random users. So when you see Nixxes Software's description on PlayStation's website stating they still do PC ports, that's why.

State of Decay 3 lead says the game only existed in a Word document when its reveal trailer dropped 6 years ago "You know, the game was in a Word document," "It was really the very beginning of [the] software. The trailer was done by Blur, it was all pre-rendered."

@AntonPiniginEx С видео не сталкивался. Но читал много. Это достигается за счёт гивервизора. У них так и обратка работает, по сути каждую игру Xbox автоматом запускает в изолированной среде "контейнере" И из него производит быструю декомпрессию файлов, либо же запускает эмуляцию, например, 360.

Интересно есть ли видео разбора технологии Quick Resume? Я не понимаю почему даже фанаты ME в Holy Wars забывают об этой штуке, но это разъебная фича. Когда я со своего XSS возвращался на PS5 и переключаясь между играми у меня реально ебло вытягивалось с того, что надо ждать.

@AntonPiniginEx А, да? Ибо пройдя 16 - она мне показалась очень слабой и нищей в плане контента. Особенно после пятнашки, которая, несмотря на неровности, была амбициозной. Большим приключением, где можно и рыбку половить и в гонках на чокобо поучавствовать.

Дошел до 10 главы Final Fantasy VII Rebirth и какое же это крутое приключение! Меня сначала смутил открытый мир, но сейчас я дико кайфую от эдакого роуд-муви. Получаю прям море удовольствия. После парашной FF16 так вообще как глоток свежего воздуха в серии.

@TheRedDragon But not the way you imagine it. CorePC architecture and Xbox Shell turn all OEM-devises into "consoles". Now - form factor doesn't matter. Just choose what you need for the price that you prefer.

@tootalls @Dee_Batch All sense in new Win architecture, step ahead from NT to CorePC. Pre-build devices with license should have special OS version with Xbox Shell on it. Form factor doesn't matter now all these devices are going to be hybrids with opportunities of PC and console game experiences.

@Dee_Batch There is a chance that the new software set for general PC use functions with limits on a general PC compared to the console. They're advertising both so they'll be vague, they won't say anything that may discredit 1 option or the other........

as Jason said all console do 15 years ago is for a reason, BC, AutoHDR, is part of co-op vector in use in Xbox since X1, because Xbox had it since X1, so helix is Workgraph 2.0 enforced, all that next level co-op vector, neural, FSR diamond wont make sense without Worgraph.

@wccftech That's a very strange moment: we got such "insides" after and not before new hardware announcement from MS. At the moment, we are getting two narratives: 1) Helix - is a "PC-based device". 2) PS6 - arrive in 2027. Looking as a damage control - normal for competition.

@MrJmoneyDeus It is neat but pointless, switching between games seamlessly, the consoles are fast enough to cold and soft boot any game. Why would you play 2 games at the same time anyway.
