When Biden was president I wanted time to pass at warp speed. But now I want it to slow to a crawl so Trump can get the job done right. Oh well.

I guess the US is set on destroying its scientific competitive advantage.
USCIS@USCIS

USCIS is applying long-standing law and prior court decisions to require certain aliens with temporary visas who decide they want to permanently reside in the U.S. to return to their home countries to apply for permanent visas through the @StateDept. We're returning to the original intent of the law to ensure aliens navigate our nation’s immigration system properly. Here’s what you should know: uscis.gov/newsroom/news-…

@RichardHanania For all the immigrants that gulped down your hopium, let me assure them—and you—the president has broad authority regarding immigration matters. This change will be upheld by the Supreme Court.

Don’t get too upset about the green card rule. It probably won’t hold up in court. And Trump’s rich donors are probably making the calls now and buying whatever memecoins they need to in order to reverse this anyway. But keep in mind who these people are going forward.

Force all our best researchers to leave the USA and go back to their home countries if they want to become Americans. Complete destruction of America's competitive advantage. Probably the worst policy i have ever seen and it's facing some stiff competition
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

@RepYassAnsari Trump and MAGA are steamrolling your failed party. We’re watching it disintegrate before our eyes. Keep simping for immigrants and it will accelerate the decline. Read the comments—this is a very popular pro-America policy. I’m sorry you’ll never understand this.

They’ve been lying when they say they support immigration “the right way.” This radical policy will target people here LEGALLY, including people married to Americans and parents of U.S. citizen children. It will separate families for months or even years, devastate communities, and kill jobs. We have to do everything we can to stop this insanity.

I’m not buying it. If MAGA is so desperate to win the midterms that they’re openly pandering to 'Heritage' Americans and Groypers, they’ve already lost. This isn’t making America Great Again. It’s dragging the country backward.

@BasedTorba It is rather ironic, isn’t it? They spew vitriol about virtually every part of our country, culture and economy and yet start crying when we prioritize our native population—rightfully. This is a very pro-America policy and we are not going back to the old ways.

Why do you guys make these declarations as if you speak for the whole country? You don’t, and it’s not even close. This is a wildly popular pro-America policy and Trump will enjoy an ARMY of support to give hard working Americans better opportunities. In case you haven’t noticed, the Democrats are getting clobbered because of failed policies and poor governance. We are watching the disintegration of the Dem party right before our eyes.

most Americans do not support this. when Dems regain power they should focus on the most popular immigrants -- educated legal ones -- instead of on amnesty for illegal immigrants so that we can regain and keep the public's trust on this issue

Trump just made legal immigration harder — on purpose. America is able to attract the top researchers, doctors, & engineers because of our worker visa programs. Forcing these immigrants to now leave the U.S. before applying for citizenship will deprive us of their innovation, their tax dollars, & their contributions to our economy.

2 minute conversation with the average "legal immigrant" on X and it's clear that they're an even worse problem than the illegals. Filled with petty resentment, brimming with anti-White hatred, just here to fill their own pockets. They have to go.

This new policy will force thousands of LEGAL immigrants, including spouses of US citizens, to leave their homes, families, and jobs for weeks or even months to get their green card outside the U.S. This is an absurd and cruel policy.

Breaking news: The Trump administration will require most foreigners seeking green cards to apply from outside the U.S., a shift that lawyers said could affect thousands of people who file applications each year while living in America on temporary visas. wapo.st/42OZ7jS

You sniveling worms. Pretended to care about the native population when all you care about is staying in power by any means necessary. Trump has an army of people behind him who support this. And your America last stance will land your sick, woke party in the dustbin of history. Trump has awakened this country and shown us exactly who you people are. You are done.

It pales in comparison to the pain the native population has endured over the last 20 years of these awful policies. My profession landed me with a front row seat to all of this, so if you want to have a friendly debate, let me know. People who think like you are a stain on America because you care nothing about the talented people who already live here, it’s just non-stop dilution of one of the most talented workforces on the planet. They will hurt. Because they have no right to take opportunities away from hard working Americans.

Point blank, this policy is a disgrace. It will rip talented, hardworking immigrants out from America and our economy, congest an already overburdened backlog, and further break an already broken immigration system. And that’s by design. This administration has made the pain of immigrants a priority, and that won't change until there’s no one left to hurt.
Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@ReichlinMelnick

🚨 🚨 🚨 NEW: A shocking @USCIS memo seems to declare that hundreds of thousands of immigrants living in this country and applying for green cards must instead apply for visas abroad; which could MASSIVELY disrupt lives. 🧵 on what we know, and what we don’t.

Tulsi Gabbard resigned due to her husband now diagnosed with a rare form of Bone Cancer, right? Well, This news hits just as Gabbard’s Director’s Initiatives Group (DIG) was aggressively investigating Havana Syndrome / Anomalous Health Incidents (AHI) — the mysterious directed-energy attacks targeting U.S. intelligence officers (their family) and diplomats. Herridge’s reporting has long documented disturbing long-term effects in verified AHI survivors, including: Cancer cases: Multiple survivors developed cancer, dementia, or Parkinson’s after alleged directed-energy exposure. One close friend of a key whistleblower died from a Rare form cancer. In another high-profile case, the wife of a U.S. Space Force officer (described as “collateral damage”) suffered full-body inflammation, thyroid cancer, and the bizarre disintegration/reabsorption of her left collarbone (clavicle) following alleged attacks. As Gabbard’s team pushed to expose what they called “defective” Biden-era intelligence assessments downplaying directed-energy weapons — and faced alleged CIA surveillance and obstruction for getting “too close to the truth” — her own family is now facing the exact pattern of rare bone cancer and damage Herridge has highlighted in AHI victims. Coincidence? Or a chilling message from the very forces the DIG was determined to expose?
