My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

I heard a real actual "boomer moment" on the Dave Ramsey show just now. Legitimately crazy call. 24-year-old guy from South Carolina calls asking for financial advice. Makes $35,000 a year as a rural letter carrier, and could make more in a few years. Turns out his grandmother left him her house and he lives in it. But his parents told him they'd pay for "renovations" to the tune of $120,000. He has to pay them back at $1,000 a month for 10 years. They have the deed and said they'd give it to him after he pays them back. Unsure why his grandmother's house needed renovations; or why it would cost $120,000 in Columbia South Carolina? Really sketchy. Wish Dave was there since he's in real estate but it was just Jade and George. His dad used his retirement to pay for the renovations, he says. 🤷‍♀️ But get this: he has $1 million in his retirement account. He's retired and is making his son pay him $1000 a month for 120 months even though he has $1 million in his account. And if you know people like that.....they tend to have even more than that. I doubt he's telling anyone how much he has saved. Final kicker is that the young guy is getting married in November and his fianceé is a part time waitress at a coffee shop. Seriously not making this up. Real call. 24-year-old is getting married and his parents basically tagged him for $10000 a month for 10 years. Dude's 24 years old and sounded very but also naive. Said he just opened up a savings account. He's obviously just following with whatever his father says. But I'm sure he's responsible enough since his grandma left him her house.

That’s the reality. Good news is you’re 29, you’re healthy, and you have a lot of freedom. You can save enough to buy one by the age of 36.
