I don’t have many parenting 🔥 takes, but if I had one I think it’d be:
Do whatever you can to get on a ball field with your kid in the early years. Head coach, assistant coach, volunteer, etc. It all counts.

Last night my son (7) hit his first home-run in a baseball game. I was the one who pitched that ball right down the middle.
As he crossed home plate I hugged him and said, “That’s what a home-run feels like buddy.”
It’s a moment I’ll never forget.

Sat in traffic while rushing home with milk so my wife could finish the dessert she was making for a church event. Only to get stuck in traffic with 3 screaming kids and one who had to pee so we gave up and came home. Pretty much how my week has been.
