Fired It’s been 40 days since we took delivery of the Model S Plaid. It’s my wife’s car. But I’m the one who takes the wheel in the evenings and on weekends. Or rather, I used to. My wife’s been acting strange lately. She gets anxious when I drive. I’ve been driving for 30 years. No accidents. My wife always said, “Your driving is so smooth.” She trusts me enough to fall asleep in the passenger seat. That trust evaporated in just 40 days. “Honey, turn on FSD.” At first, I thought she was joking. She wasn’t. When I drive myself, her hand reaches for the door handle. Only when I turn on FSD do her shoulders relax. She sighs. She looks at ease. My 30 years of experience were no match for AI. I have to admit it honestly. FSD drives smoothly. Acceleration, deceleration, and lane changes are all as natural as flowing water. It’s like having a personal driver for a division commander. The deft touch of a veteran who’s driven tens of thousands of kilometers. But it’s a machine. For 30 years, I thought I was a good driver. My wife told me so, too. But now that I’ve experienced true mastery, my standards have completely shifted. This is what technological progress is all about. Yesterday’s best becomes today’s second best. I asked my wife, “So what am I now?” She smiled and replied, “A supervisor.”

This is from a gas station in Phoenix yesterday: $6.49 for a gallon of gas. All because Trump started war with no plan and no idea how it would affect everyday Americans. I'm fighting to suspend the federal gas tax to bring families some relief, but what they really need is a president focused on lowering their costs.

I just think this change raises many issues: - What about US citizens living abroad? (many are full time X creators) - What about legitimate international creators? - Users from countries with little user base? (Vatican, 800 people; Andorra, 80k, etc.) - International full time X creators? Why should an account like mine not be paid at all while delivering over 100M impressions a month? Because the Head of Product doesn’t like me? I think @elonmusk should look into this. There are smarter ways to deal with ‘foreign interference’ from 3rd world countries. I was suspended within minutes of respectfully commenting about Nikita, then unbanned by Elon Musk himself. Hope it doesn’t happen again. Just my opinion, respectfully.

If you haven't served you are not the one to talk about this. When you serve, the amount of shit you go through is unreal. Start with the psychological, the amount of stress you are put through in the military is so tremendous! You are separated from your family for who knows how long because the mission changes on the fly, you get paid very little for the sacrifice you put your family through, then all the hazards that you face, combat, chemical not necessarily during combat, all the physical training that you have to go through simulating combat conditions, stressing your body and your mind, if you were a paratrooper I guarantee back and joint issues for the rest of your life, if you are special operations that is a bunch of other issues that you will bare for the rest of your life and that is to be combat ready. Maybe you didn't go to combat, but you trained for combat and you always train has you fight. All this is without going to "real" combat. When you go to combat, add all the shit you went through to get ready plus all the hurt, pain, conditions that you will develop during and after combat. So if you are going to dare to talk shit about our veterans collecting disability for voluntarily going through all this shit for your liberal, snowflake ass to complain about our service you better have been in the military and all it takes to have an opinion on how we should be compensated for your freedom. YOU ARE WELCOME!
