The principle has a best friend, it's called shape. If we agree that everything is made out of atoms then the principle must be the same. The principle will reveal itself in different shapes and forms. The illusion is that it's perceived to be something it's not.

@trwsenti You know the average business owner would dream of an 8 hour day - if you're fried after 8 hours something else is wrong unless you work blue-collar

Nobody tells you about the worst part of a 9-5. You get home at 6:30 with 4 hours of free time and spend 3 of them recovering from the day. You get one hour. One real hour where your brain works properly. And most nights you use it scrolling because you're too fried to do anything that requires thinking. Everyone calls it laziness. But you gave eight hours of focus to someone else's business and now your brain has nothing left. The system got what it needed from you.

Hello Amir, 9-5 is a sacrifice i get it. What is necessary in a scenario like this is a simple system that gives your day clarity. It begins the day before by writing down priorities for the next day. A good system will save you energy preserve it and give you time back in return a good system will give you clarity that erase all the friction it takes to start something. By writing down the priorities the day before you already primed the brain 🧠 for what is coming with system the brain becomes a powerhouse that will be unrecognizable.

@trwsenti The biggest cost of many 9-5 jobs is not low pay. It is cognitive depletion. If work leaves you too drained to learn, build, think, or even enjoy the few hours you have left, then the system is not just buying your time. It is consuming your recovery.

@trwsenti Spot on dude it takes a life-hack to reset your brain faster than 3h. 3 hours are way to long it should take less than 10min With a proper system in place like Adapt 'n' grow this is possible.

Gauss meets real life. Also - Notice how people lifting 95 already say, “Fuck it, let’s do 100” - so there’s a discontinuity point. Mathematical theory faces reality.

It’s just data. But it’s helped me identify habits to remove to help me sleep better. It got me to entirely remove alcohol ~4 years ago because of how it would negatively impact my resting heart rate. It helps me get to a daily step goal. But I don’t really care for day-to-day data. Just trends and things like travel.

For the past 6 months I've gotten away from using an Apple watch, Oura, Whoop, and any other type of wearable. I've noticed no changes in my physical health but a positive change in my mental health as I've stopped using a piece of tech to tell me how I should feel.

@MuscleBusUtah @CoachDanGo @ouraring That is true that we precive things in a different way, cab you tell me how that data helps you in your daily life? It would be interesting to hear your thoughts since you had it for 5 years

@CoachDanGo Is this a personality thing? I’ve been wearing @ouraring for 5- years and never once have felt it dictated my mood or day. It’s just data, what you do with that data is purely on the individual?

Awesome 👌 they have framed the these self help systems in the wrong way I made a system that is a complementary to ones life instead of a dictating one. It is built to last true time and encourage thought and reflection instead of teaching you what is right or wrong it helps you to decide yourself.

I canceled my @WHOOP subscription, and the only reason was that they made it extremely hard to cancel. It’s not possible via their app, and even if you find their obscure link, they don’t allow you to cancel unless you answer 9/10 questions. Feels extremely deceiving. Better to avoid paying companies that have zero respect to their users.

Lost in the noise? Focus wins every time. 🎯Set 1 main goal. 📆Break it into steps. ✅Track, refine, repeat. 📈Growth is inevitable when you stay on course.
