Here's a look at the 36 hour rainfall totals across western WA - ending at 5am this morning. You can really see the gradient in rainfall totals from the northwest to southeast portion of the area! More rain is on the way as another system sweeps across the region today. #wawx

Aurora fans...the current Kp is 9...we usually need a Kp of 7 to see the aurora. The aurora has already been seen in Alabama & Texas. This event could be like the Carrington event in early September 1859, one of the strongest geomagnetic storms recorded. Look up soon! #wawx

I tracked published books that I completed in 2023, using the @kclibrary website (you can add books you finish to your Completed shelf, even if you don't check them out from the library). This made it much easier to track, although I might have missed 1 or 2.
