We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

I was always told that sniper’s alley was about 47 to 54 and now if you Google it it’s 50 to 60 or even 40 to 70 which is essentially meaningless. The incorrect telling of it down the years has led to nonsense replacing the original Doctor’s observation. Welcome to the internet.

One of our employees, Jared Rackley, caught this morning's meteor on camera from the Pittsburgh area.

#MeteorSighting: A very bright daylight fireball was observed by witnesses from the northeast U.S. and Canada this morning, March 17. An analysis of currently available data places first visibility of the meteor above Lake Erie. The fireball - caused by a small asteroid nearly 6 feet in diameter and weighing about 7 tons - moved southeast at 45,000 mph before fragmenting over Valley City. By this time on a Sunday I’m not long from leaving base to head for the filming destination. Full of anticipation and excitement, hopeful that it’ll all work-out knowing there’s a thousand of our family as eager as I am for their weekly dose of friendly interaction.
