@braddavo @Nic_Ashman Agree with Davo. The new reality will occasionally serve up this situation. While it’s disappointing, it’s still a whole lot better than an injured horse in the Melbourne Cup (or Caulfield Cup, Cox Plate etc.).

@Nic_Ashman You can’t take risks if scan shows a potential issue. The proof is in the pudding in terms of the results of bringing the scans in. You can talk about how strict they should be but absolutely we needed them for Melb Cup considering number of injuries before introduction
