After 18 months of “standing up to Putin” the Labour govt quietly issued a licence allowing imports of Russian oil refined in third countries. Yesterday Labour MPs voted AGAINST UK oil and gas licences. We are now importing from Russia instead of drilling in the North Sea. Insane.

Great fun this evening running the Balerno Rigg Race with Abbie. 2 miles of continuous climbing, 1 mile level-ish, 3 miles down hill to finish for the most bling medal & a great buffet. @RunComPod

Absolutely everything and had an ACL to boot. Keane was a better long and short passer. Better attacking. Better engine. Faster. Better tackling. Better on the ball dribbling. People forget United fans didn’t rate Carrick for years. People forget him being booed because he didn’t move forward and kept passing sideways.

This is because everyone is so thin-skinned nowadays that nobody can handle someone they don’t know being criticised. Keane and Neville (and Scholes and Butt) came from an era which was much more brutal.
