At the same time, misinformation, especially around safety issues like devices catching fire, is serious and can create unnecessary panic. Good to see Motorola acknowledge that some creators were impacted inadvertently and issue an apology. Going forward, brands need to be more careful and precise with such actions so that genuine feedback doesn’t get caught in the crossfire. Transparency and accountability go both ways.
