Travel between a tier 2 city and ccu takes at least 6 to 7 hours using public transport which includes the railways for a substantial part of journey (almost 100 kms). Getting to howrah by train is a challenge in itself. Journey within the city is additional frustration.

@TransportWest the airport express service has become an ordinary passenger service with pickups at every 2 mins. It takes almost two hours. The service is not just poor but pathetic. The passengers are stuffed like goods beyond the bus capacity. The staff is arrogant. Terrible!
