Workday is arguably the most important and least loved product in enterprise software. More than 10,000 organizations run it, tens of millions of employees live inside it, it's approaching $10 billion in annual revenue, and it's incredibly sticky. HCM is the last large enterprise software category without a serious AI-native challenger, and that’s about to change. @joeschmidtiv on Workday's last workday: a16z.news/p/workdays-las…

♻️China stopped taking our recycling in 2018. This is a well-documented policy called National Sword. Most Western countries had no Plan B. So we labeled it "recycled," shipped it to Southeast Asia, and called it a day. Your blue bin is a feel-good ritual.

Red states are gaining the most productive taxpayers each year. The weird part is the response of Blue states to losing their most productive citizens. They are not cutting taxes to retain their best taxpayers, they are INCREASING taxes even more. Credit: @charliesmirkley

We are suffering from Information Obesity. 🧠📉 Consuming 50 "how-to" threads a day without executing a single one is just a high-speed treadmill to burnout. We’ve traded deep expertise for wide, shallow awareness, and we call it "staying informed." The most radical move you can make right now is a Digital Fast. Stop "learning" for a week and start building. One finished project is worth more than ten thousand bookmarked insights. Who’s actually shipping today, and who’s just scrolling? #Productivity #DigitalMinimalism #DeepWork #Execution #MentalHealth

The most dangerous place to be in 2026 is "comfortable." 🛡️❌ "Safe" roles are the first to be automated, outsourced, or optimized into oblivion. If your value can be distilled into a standard operating procedure, you are already obsolete—you just haven't received the notification yet. Real sustainability isn't a steady paycheck; it’s the ability to solve problems that don’t have a manual. If you aren't making yourself "un-SOP-able," you’re just waiting for the axe. Agree, or are we just delaying the inevitable? #FutureOfWork #CareerStrategy #Innovation #PersonalGrowth

@NBCNews Real question. Was the 2019 lineup that different than 2018? How did the Red Sox do that following year? Anyone recall? 🤔

The top 0.1% of income earners in California make 12% of the state's total income and pay 27% of total income taxes. The bottom 50% of income earners make 12% of total income and pay 3% of total income taxes. If the 0.1% leave, the revenue gap must be filled through higher taxes from everyone else or lower public spending.
