wake up babe - new bee dropped. The Oklahoma Natural Heritage Inventory added a rare species (like a normal species but rarer) to our list of native bees. The morning glory longhorn was detected for the first time in Oklahoma at Cookson Wildlife Management Area.

@DrlxReina @dna_heligrace I would use Pierce BCA Assay Kit. Pretty easy and versatile. The results are also fast.

I have a technical science question: when doing protein quantification: has anyone ever had their protein assay dye reagent precipitate? My BSA standards in DEPC water is fine. But my protein in lysis buffer has blue specs. Google hasn’t come up with much of an answer so far
