It’s a subsidy. You should only pay school property taxes when you have children in school. Otherwise it’s welfare and a redistribution of wealth from one group to another that is getting subsidized. A truly MAGA person would not support taxing someone for services they no longer use. Let’s add a property tax for all to fund nursing homes and assisted living centers. Is that fair?

Our seniors should not pay property taxes.

Margins sat in the gap between Silicon Valley training budgets and global piecework wages. A normal business. Top out at a few billion. Then ChatGPT happened and every AI lab on earth suddenly needed labeled data at scale. Scale was already the neutral vendor. OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, Meta. All running through the same invoices. Revenue hit $870 million in 2024 with $2 billion projected for 2025. A $249 million Pentagon contract on top. The labeling pipeline was the cover story. The real asset was the Rolodex. In one stretch of early 2025, Wang took personal meetings with Keir Starmer, Narendra Modi, Emmanuel Macron, and Mike Johnson. Michael Kratsios, Trump's head of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, spent the four years between Trump's two terms as a Scale executive. At 28, Wang had direct working relationships with every frontier lab, the US military, and half the G7. In June 2025, Meta paid $14.3 billion for 49 percent of Scale at a $29 billion valuation, took zero voting rights, and installed Wang as head of Meta Superintelligence Labs reporting directly to Zuckerberg. The structure was engineered to sit under FTC acquihire scrutiny. Same playbook Microsoft used on Inflection, Amazon used on Adept, Google used on Character. Zuckerberg paid $14.3 billion for the one person alive who had a working relationship with every lab he was racing. "Invest lots of time" is what you say to a camera. What Wang actually did at 19 was put himself at the one bottleneck every AI lab would eventually have to pay to cross. Time is what you spend. Position is what you sell.
