I am proud to announce that we have reached a historic agreement between the @PhiladelphiaGov and @afscme33.   Here’s the big news: due to a one-year contract agreement with the Union, there will be NO work stoppage in the City of Philadelphia! Members of AFSCME District Council 33 will receive a 5.0% salary increase in FY25 and a $1,400 bonus for every employee in the union.    This is tremendous news that we can all feel very good about. We have the best Municipal Workforce in America and I am proud to be the 100th Mayor of our City, representing a workforce that works hard every day to serve our 1.6 million residents.
