Don't mind the lads who live in the comments section of X, real people are sound, and want politicians who care about the future of our planet. #BigGreenCanvass was a lovely way to remind ourselves of this.

Sally Rooney at The Southbank Centre tonight, before beginning her reading, speaking out strongly about the death and destruction in Palestine while saying, "It is difficult to avoid the conclusion that we are witnessing an unfolding genocide..."

Delighted that Cleo Murphy has agreed to run in the next general election for the Greens. A really sensible, intelligent advocate for Kerry, she could be transformative. Select Kerry Candidate for General Election– July 30th, 2024 radiokerry.ie/podcasts/kerry…

I'm delighted that our leadership contest recognises that rural Ireland is crucial to the party's future. I know that Pippa understands and will support farming and fishing communities, and the survival of rural communities.

It is long past time that Palestine joins the other nations of the world as an internationally recognised state. This is a vital step on the path to peace and promotes the establishment of a two state solution for Palestine in conjunction with Israel.

This article in today’s @farmersjournal is not factually correct @potooleifj. The document we were asked to sign is not one asking us to abide by the rules of the organisation. The document is a declaration which includes many points including that we cannot speak about matters to media or on social media. It also stated that we must treat all staff and officers with respect. I am one of the 8 @IFAmedia Kerry Officers who have refused to sign. I have continually asked @gormanifa how he has expected me to sign when the organisation, as of this month two years ago, received a formal complaint from me about horrible nasty homophobic bullying I had endured from an officer in another county, and how the organisation, and people who are aware of this complaint, including former President @TimCullinan_IFA and Deputy President @brianrushe81, showed me no respect, and that despite my repeated attempts at continually asking for an update, I was ignored. The mental stress and anxiety IFA has caused me means I now have to take medication prescribed by my doctor every morning when I wake up, a reminder about what they’ve put me through these last two years. One of my fellow Kerry officers, who submitted a sexual harassment complaint, and subsequently had this complaint ignored despite her attempts at asking former National Treasurer Martin Stapleton to deal with it, has also refused to sign the document and is also being threatened with expulsion. In one of her ignored emails, she pleaded with Martin to deal with her complaint because the man terrifies her. I cannot and will not sign a document asking me to respect IFA when they have not shown me or my fellow officers any respect. My legal team are dealing with my issues surrounding IFA and i cannot make any further comment about it at this time. Thank you

It’s like the All-Irelands for #Climate today @OldGroundHotel Ennis where all 31 Local Authority Climate Action Plans are being analysed and discussed by those who put in the hard work to develop them. Now the real action begins - implementing them so they succeed locally.

This guy has just brought about another international agreement on no further fossil fuel power plants internationally..... Amazing achievements, he doesn't get anything like the credit he deserves. History will be much kinder. ...Don't bother commenting, twitter boys (we know..)
