@vitaelectrical @neilbridgeman Some people fit deadlocks and every other device they can but the scum cut open the roof. You can't win. The way they got into Neil's van is used in busy places/carparks because it is discreet. Peeling doors and roofs is used more in quieter areas/carparks where they aren't seen

A first for us but we have now joined the seemingly impossible not to be a member club of vans being broken into in London club. Everything inside gone. Thousands in tools and damage and a van off the road. In the same night, again in London. My supervisor had his car stolen. @MayorofLondon - vehicle crime in our once great London is truly at epidemic levels. I would love to hear what you are doing about it.

@neilbridgeman @vitaelectrical There is nothing that will stop a determined thief but if it makes my van less appealing than the next van or slows them down then it is money well spent.

@DaveThroup Surely there comes a point where you give up and move to higher ground? I know it is easier said than done.

To give an idea of how far we're already going with flood defences, these are the barriers when at full height at Bewdley. Water got a long way up these in 2020. I don't know what pressure would behind it but it's scary. You can't just keep going higher!

@sparkypete_ @JCCLighting I used some of the big'uns (170mm I think) the other day, worked a treat 👌

Part of todays works were to upgrade MR16 tilt fittings to LED integral fittings. @jcclighting came to the rescue with their 100 wide v50s. Great fittings that not only covered the area beneath but illuminated the area well and were a dream to fit. 👌
