You think it’s by reading book only? Lol 😂 I like it when motivational speakers speak with confidence. All we hear is the Process: be diligent, form a community of dream executors, always show up, and so on. But have you noticed that they often sell the process, yet rarely acknowledge the variables? Otedola didn’t either in his book. This is because there is no guarantee those processes will make you an outlier. It probably won’t, because the variables on which the processes depend are rarely discussed. They can’t actually because there are no patterns to that. lol 😂 Just as Robert Herjavec, the billionaire of Shark Tank said, "I can tell you the person who will succeed if ten people walk into this room." He was asked how, and he said that anyone who follows the process — e.g, being confident, always prepared for opportunities, etc — will succeed. He then said, But to be super successful? To be a Billionaire? To become an outlier? You just have to get lucky or find some grace on your way up. The most important factor is Grace. Many people who would ordinarily have been successful by the scale of their efforts/process have gone into the ruins of history because they lack Grace. The process matters, and I preach that too; however, always pray for God’s grace because grace perfects the variables to make your process shine. Remember: at the end of the day, only winners become motivational speakers.

This is a great development, and it's not only timely but also aligned with the 2021 Nigeria National Pathways to Food Systems Transformation, a strategy document we are building along with at @yucachain We pride ourselves in researching and developing post-harvest technologies.

FLASH: President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT GCFR today commissioned (virtually) the mid level Lagos State Fresh food Hub, Abijo, Lekki-Epe Expressway. Mr President was ably represented by the President of the Senate and Chairman of the National Assembly, Senator Godswill Akpabio @Senator_Akpabio Lagos State Fresh Food Hub—Abijo sits on a 23,000 sqm land with adequate parking facilities, cold and dry storage facilities, expansive trading floors for vendors and beautiful environment for a better shopping experience for consumers. This food hub aims to bring fresh, affordable produce to communities along the Lekki‑Epe corridor, helping to decentralize food access beyond traditional urban centers. The first of its kind was built in Idi-oro Mushin which is fully functional and well patronised, others are also currently being built in Pen Cinema Agege, Bombata; Lagos Island, Oregun Ikeja, Ikorodu and others. This initiative fits into the Lagos Agricultural Roadmap launched in 2021 by Governor @jidesanwoolu, which aims to make Lagos self-sustainable and achieve food security. In the Long term, these food hubs will receive a ready and steady supply of farm produce directly from the ongoing massive Lagos Food logistics in Ketu Ereyun, Epe. #LagosFoodHub #ProduceForLagos #LagosFoodSecurity #PBATInLagos #GreaterLagosRising

@akinwale_cfi Again, this is not only impressive, but what the state (and country) as a whole needs for its food security goals. At @yucachain, we are closely aligned with this in our efforts to reduce post-harvest losses through an integrated system. We are a potential cold chain partner.

That’s the gap YucaChain is closing. Closer sourcing. Smarter processing. Better movement. Where do you think the biggest loss in agriculture actually happens?

Everything looks good on paper… Harvest is ready. Demand is there. Then somehow,by the time it reaches processing, it’s a different story. Quality drops. Time is lost. Value disappears. It’s not one problem. It’s the chain.

@Pee5ivePen No one will solve them for Farmers... ...the most is Government creating enabling Environment, ...Farmers have to solve them by themselves, first. Then, they'll talk to Investors to expand.

@Sistaliano @yucachain is building an integrated system that combines digital and physical infrastructure to solve the postharvest problem that is causing wastage across several agricultural produces and reducing farmers' income. We are currently in the implementation phase of our project.

You did everything right… Then the system failed you. Harvest ready. Processing messy. Value gone before it hits the market. If you’ve been here, you understand. YucaChain connects every step, from farm to market, with structure, visibility, and standards.

Resilience in cassava production is not optional, it’s necessary. Disease-resistant cassava varieties are one of the most practical tools farmers can adopt to protect yield, stabilize income, and strengthen food systems. When combined with good agronomic practices.
Munezero Cedric@MunezeroCedk

Cassava has been a true game changer for many farmers it feeds families and brings steady income, even in difficult seasons. But in recent years, cassava diseases have become a big problem. Many farmers are losing yields because of these diseases, affecting both food and income. One important solution is enhanced (improved) cassava varieties that are made to resist these diseases. These are crops developed by scientists to stay strong, produce well, and reduce losses. Some farmers worry when they hear the word “biotech,” thinking it might be harmful. But in simple terms, biotech crops are just improved crops that have been carefully developed and tested to be safe for people and the environment. They help plants fight diseases naturally and grow better. Using disease-resistant cassava means: ✔️ Higher yields ✔️ Less crop loss ✔️ More income for farmers ✔️ Better food security Farmers deserve solutions that work. With the right information and improved planting materials, cassava can continue to change lives for the better. Let’s share knowledge and support each other. Have you experienced cassava diseases or tried improved varieties? Share your thought
