McDonald’s just dropped a new AI ad and it’s beautiful and I am genuinely tired of people pretending this is not the future of media. If this played on your TV during a normal commercial break, you would be disingenuous to say “its slop” or “I could easily tell it is AI.” It is a fantastic ad on its own merits, and it is obvious that AI video will eventually be one to one with reality, where you truly cannot tell the difference. if your of average intelligence and can extrapolate of course. When we get there, then what? Is it still “slop,” or does “slop” permeate as a label for anything made with AI, even when you cannot tell at all?

Alright lads, I'm calling a moratorium on End of Evangelion thumbnails. It's played out, it's been shallow and hacky for years at this point. You need to find a new piece of hollowed out imagery to run into the ground, you can have EoE back when it means something again.

@Rimmy_Downunder I have a feeling it was google shutting it down, not rockstar .. google changes requirements like others change their underwear and it's simply not feasible to keep updating an app forever, especially when noones uses it.

playing through GTA5 again, nostalgia hit. Took Chop out walking and was wondering why I couldn't make him happy Turns out this entire feature was part of a mobile app that Rockstar shut down 3 years ago, so training Chop is now impossible I love modern gaming dude

crazy how utterly abandoned GTA's story mode was Outside of the DLCs that never came out and got turned into Online content, stuff like this just never being patched after so long (and an "Expanded and Enhanced" edition release AFTER the app shutdown) for a AAA game is insane
