Currently sat in Bristol airport waiting to fly to fuerteventura after being delayed 4 hours because some person in @easyJet head office cant answer the phone to authorise it. Even the pilot is asking to go. Talk about taking the mick

Hi @easyJet, compensation for my cancelled flight declined due to "bad weather" but every other flight went, and ours didnt due to crew (not bad weather). Left abandoned in foreign country, told to fend for ourselves with no chain of care, so you also broke your own polict.

@Pensquire @marktays @easyJet couldn’t get to fuerteventura today as missed last ferry due to bags being late. Now getting a ferry tomorrow !!!!

@marktays @Pensquire @easyJet nope! firstly they told us it was a technical problem with the plane, then they told us it was a seating issue, then they told us it was a crew issue, then the last thing we heard was the easyjet office would not sign off on it!!!

@Georgia59693443 @marktays @easyJet Yeah i heard mention that Fuerteventura airport closes overnight so if a flight isnt out by midnight it gets cancelled. Absolute carnage and zero help from easyjet. Mark i really hope you guys get sorted soon, they forget people have jobs to go to!

@marktays @Pensquire @easyJet what makes this 10 times worse is that in bristol the plane pilot and crew were ready to go and just waiting for someone in head office to answer the phone. except they wouldn’t and when the pilot got through to them they said it would be too late for you guys to come back.

@marktays @Georgia59693443 @easyJet We had the same Mark.. Managed to change our flights to the Gatwick one last night, then the kind cabin manager arranged 25 of us road transport to take us from LGW to Bristol. Hope you get sorted soon, 'fend for yourself' was not the attitude we needed!
