I genuinely don't understand people like Bezos and Musk. If I had billions of dollars, I would just start fixing everything. Homeless veterans sleeping on the streets? Not on my watch. Hungry children going to bed with empty stomachs? Hell no. They could be making life better but instead choose to build spaceships and data centers to pump stocks and destroy the planet

This woman has lost 260 pounds eating in a calorie deficit, and she’s sharing one of her go-to high-protein meals — Thai inspired beef summer rolls with a homemade peanut sauce. Each roll comes in at about 225 calories and packs 33 grams of protein. She cooks up a flavorful beef filling with carrots, green onions, garlic, lemongrass, and basil, then wraps it all up in rice paper with some fresh veggies. The real star might be the high-protein peanut sauce she makes using PB2 powdered peanut butter. At the end, her husband tries one and it’s pretty clear he’s a big fan. It’s a great example of how you can still enjoy flavorful, satisfying food while staying in a deficit. Have you ever eaten in a calorie deficit? I’ve never tried it myself, but these spring rolls are actually making me want to give it a shot.

Not sure why people have a problem with Homelander going out like this. Convinced those people never actually watched the series. Homelander has always been a pathetic fragile ego coward that’s become increasingly unhinged and desperate. That’s the whole point of the character. This pathetic last ditch effort is perfectly on brand. Homelander was never going to die with dignity like a brave hero, he wasn’t a brave hero, he was a spoiled child. That was the whole point. This was realistic for the character.

I wanted Gallrein to win simply because Thomas Massie had some major red flags re: Epstein “Survivors” I didn’t like, and thought he’d be more helpful than Massie to get Trump’s EO’s codified. But no matter if you are for or against Thomas Massie, this should not be ok. And this is why people are rightfully upset. AIPAC only cares about getting politicians in there who are pro-Israel. Imagine for a moment if this tweet read “we were happy to get someone in there who was “pro-china” American’s, myself included, just want our members of congress to solely focus on America FIRST policies. Then, and only then, after we help ourselves FIRST, we can help our allies if absolutely necessary.. but no country should have members of congress who are automatic YES votes for everything related to what a foreign country asks. JFK was assassinated around the time he was desperately fighting to get AZC (which is now AIPAC) registered under FARA. He also died around the time he was fighting to prevent Israel from obtaining a nuclear weapon. (Ironic) AIPAC needs to register under FARA. It’s just that simple.

Scour the historical record and find me someone who has ever done this. There has never been a ruler, serial killer, or what have you who did this. Even Gaddafi faced the end with more dignity. And of course, why would someone do that? You know it's not going to work. You know that the guy about to beat you to death with a crowbar isn't interested in a blowjob. Offers of power or wealth are one thing, spontaneous self-debasement is another. There are gutter criminals and so forth who have done stuff like this to save their lives in gang conflict. None have ever offered it up spontaneously. They get a gun held to their head and are ordered to debase themselves. It's not even a matter of being smart or dumb. Even the dumbest, most cowardly person on Earth understands that all you achieve by saying stuff like that is to make killing you more satisfactory. So it actually decreases your odds of survival. There's exactly one type of person that I would believe would do this kind of thing if they truly faced death. It's not a powerful kind of person, either in terms of physical strength or political influence. It's Eric Kripke. The platonic form of the modern Hollywood director, critic, or writer. These are the lowest life forms that have ever walked the Earth. No wonder they haven't made a good movie in years.
