Today I drove the Ford MaxiCab.
I’m torn.
My TXE is iconic. The turning circle is legendary. I love driving it.
But the MaxiCab? Beautiful drive. For the driver and the passenger.

Private Hire, as the name suggests, are for private hire.

It would make sense with the current building works to stop PH dropping off as the Taxi Rank should take priority over drop offs.

@IsSaddleThereIs I doubt the driver realised it was an "official cycleway", it isn't exactly very well marked is it? As a cyclist you might know, but you can't expect all car drivers to know especially if they're from out of the area. Perhaps the road surface should be a different colour?

Sadly I’d turned off my ignition so didn’t record it. This car, parked on a taxi rank was asked to move on by the traffic warden. The warden then got a load of abuse, the driver went to pull off, the warden stepped into the road to take a photo. The driver reversed at the warden.

If you care about time, and about people who need roads (emergency services, trades, deliveries)…every bike = 1 less car, freeing up space for those who need them.
