@nihnightmare @strike_dr I interned at a science museum in my early 20s and always loved when people would complain about the AC because it’d get to inform them that if we raised the temperature, the shrunken heads in the exhibit would start to rot. Amazing every time.

@ganymedeshouse 18g is good for drawing up but painfully large for injecting. My partner and I use 23g or 25g for our (human) injections, and the idea of injecting myself with an 18g makes me wince. Pharmacies aren’t always good at giving the right gauge so it’s wise to double-check.

Yesterday we gave gany his subQ fluids with an 18g needle w his restock instead of a 20g that weve been using and he got very upset and was all puffed up after which hasn’t happened. I guess it’s the needle? I will use 20g from now.. has this happened to anyone else 😭
