@dynastydogmike I don't get why people say hes "boring". He's the most versatile receiver on the field, gets work out of the backfield and has great vision with the ball in his hand in the open field. Germie is sick

This stat is being wildly overblown. Most players on this list had over twice as many routes as Burden's 230. So, let's start with the small sample size, which matters on multiple levels. The first as a core statistical principle that the smaller your sample, the less confident you can be. But Burden's limited sample is itself a concern. If he's so good, why was he just a part-time player all year? (He hit a 55% snap share only once in the 15 regular-season games Olamide Zaccheaus was healthy.) Perhaps this should matter more than his per-route efficiency. Because small-sample efficiency in this role has misled us before. Kalif Raymond put up very similar numbers when he was Ben Johnson's part-time slot WR. Hilariously, from 2022-2023, Raymond had the exact same YPRR as Ja'Marr Chase (2.13). Increase our sample to include the postseason (where Burden averaged a pathetic 1.14 YPRR) and Burden falls a sizeable distance from his spot on this list. Go a step further and exclude trick plays (over 10% of his yards on just two plays) and screens, and he's not even the most efficient rookie on his team. [stats & chart courtesy of @FantasyPtsData]

@andrudabeast @TroyD55 @earlie2k @SleeperNFL Just like the NBA, because of modern medicine/recovery advancements each generation of players has the potential to extend their careers and play longer. Bijan, Gibbs, Jeanty, Love's generation will probably push it even further.

@earlie2k @TroyD55 @SleeperNFL I think elite 3 down backs are going to get paid with the way the league is shifting to bigger formations. Bijan, Gibbs, Love, Jeanty types will command more on their next deals than Love got paid going 1.03.

@TroyD55 @PerfectReality9 @SleeperNFL That is the problem. I could very well see Love’s rookie slot becoming a huge talking-point for the next NFL c.b.a. From either the owners OR the NFLPA looking to close the salary gap for running backs.

@Bowers_szn @earlie2k @SleeperNFL Achane is great, one of the top backs. Just not prototypical size so there can be concerns over longevity, he's not exactly built like Derrick Henry. But he can rip off long runs and is a great receiver no doubt.

@earlie2k @SleeperNFL Love is a much higher rated prospect than Achane was, I think every single NFL team would rather have the 6' 214lb 20 year old generational prospect than the 5'9 191lb 24 year old. Achane is great and he got paid. There is no issue. Bijan will reset the market w/ his next deal.

@PerfectReality9 @SleeperNFL The actual point is that Achane is a proven commodity being outweighed by a rookie with draft capital. A big problem will arise with the NFLPA and team owners within the next 5 years if this bubble keeps growing.

Kaelon Black is easily becoming one of the best sleepers of rookie drafts. “What Black could do as a true starting running back is what I liked.” Kyle Shanahan has stated, while vehemently defending his third round investment. With draft capital being THE BEST predictive indicator for success in the NFL…. From a fantasy and dynasty standpoint, we must target him in all formats.

@LordReebs Agreed, Bill Croskey-Merritt a 7th round 24 year old rookie had some success on a much worse team, with zero ability or trust from his team to play passing downs. Jadarian is a much better prospect, on a much better team, with much better draft capital. I think he'll be okay.

This should be expected given his physical profile and pass pro concerns. But even as someone who has been a skeptic of paying the iron price, the real context for this is "when Price is on the field, the Seahawks likely will be running the ball."
SleeperNFL@SleeperNFL

.@BradyHenderson on Jadarian Price’s role in Seattle: “It’s best to view him as the Seahawks' replacement for Walker as opposed to their clear-cut RB1.”

@Jumpshot8 Stoudemire and Diaw got suspended a game after Horry hip checked Nash into the scorers table. Maybe I'm wrong but I think a full wind up intentional elbow is worse than stepping on the court after your teammate gets clocked.

He already got suspended by getting kicked out and costing his team a game . Naz Reid did not even leave the game. If Naz left game and didn’t play anymore, then yes. Play ball.
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania

There will be no further discipline for Spurs star Victor Wembanyama after he was ejected for elbowing Naz Reid in Minnesota on Sunday night, sources tell ESPN. No suspension, no fine. Wembanyama will play in Game 5 against the Timberwolves on Tuesday night in San Antonio.

@FFSnoog 1 TD every 9 touches. He's a homerun hitter. Can't wait to see what he does with a bigger workload, and if he can be more involved in the passing game than he was in college.

One thing I can promise you Jadarian Price blows Zach Charbonnet out of the water Round 1 draft capital Super Bowl caliber team + offense Not an elite-tier prospect, but I had a solid Day 2 grade on him — brings that same explosive, slashing run style you see from guys like Travis Etienne, Kenneth Walker III, and James Cook and the question is can he get to that level or is he more of an RJ Harvey, Tevin Coleman, Raheem Mostert style?

@BengalsNation8 @redditspurs I don't blame Wemby for getting frustrated, its a human reaction. The NBA not suspending him a single game for it is on them. They decided Stoudemire and Diaw deserved to be suspended a game after Horry shoved Nash into the scorers table. NBA is cooked, something we can all agree

@PerfectReality9 @redditspurs One was blatant. The other they concealed within the play. Like they’ve been doing to him the whole series. Intent was the same. Just one was done with calculation and the other was a guy breaking. They’ve been beating on him specifically all series.

@LateRoundQB That was up there with the worst analysis I've ever seen A. Kaelon Black caught 4 passes each of the past 2 seasons B. CMC is the best receiving back of all time (which has nothing to do with Kaelon Black) C. Its by no means certain that Black gets work over James if CMC is out

I think it is much more likely than the initial reaction to the David Njoku signing that Orande Gadsden II is the one who knocks If McDaniel follows wider league trends into using 12 personnel as the LAC base, there is not much of a reason we can't see a > 70% route share for Gadsden
