The CAST Trial and its implications is essential knowledge for not just cardiologists, but all physicians. A sobering lesson on how observational data can be misleading and we need randomized trials to correctly inform clinical practice.

@Perrycardium I am worried you would run into issues with multicollinearity?

#biostats question I am using Cox PH model for survival. I think I should include STS score, which is a summary score of risk including age, sex, race etc. Do I also include age, sex and race in my model or should I not since it's in the STS? Links to readings appreciated.
