The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) joins the people of Uganda in mourning the passing of Rt. Hon. Gen. Moses Ali, a distinguished statesman, patriot, and dedicated public servant whose unwavering commitment to national unity, equity, and inclusive development has left an enduring legacy. Throughout his decades of service to Uganda, Gen. Moses Ali championed the rights and dignity of all people, particularly vulnerable and marginalized communities. His steadfast leadership, wisdom, and commitment to justice contributed significantly to the advancement of equal opportunities and the promotion of social inclusion across the country. The Commission extends its deepest and heartfelt condolences to H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the Government and people of Uganda, the family of the late Rt. Hon. Gen. Moses Ali, the people of Adjumani West, and all those whose lives were touched by his exemplary service. As we mourn this great son of Uganda, we also celebrate a remarkable legacy of patriotism, integrity, and selfless leadership. His contributions to building a more inclusive, equitable, and united nation will continue to inspire present and future generations.
